In
2001, Uzbekistan Gymnast Oksana Chusovitina won the Silver Medal
in vault at the World Championships in Ghent, despite the fact
that the Uzbekistan National Training Center was without a new
Pegasus vaulting table. Who knows, with a proper vaulting table
for training, perhaps Team UZB will see a gold medal in the
future. The Team Uzbekistan Fan Club seeks your help to pay
for one of the Pegasus vaulting tables for the National Olympic
Training Center (RUOR) in Tashkent!
The
Fan Club has already purchased a Pegasus directly from Janssen
& Fritsen. (This is in addition to the complimentary vault
from J&F, which goes to the men's gym). The vault was delivered
to RUOR while Team UZB was in Ghent, Belgium for the World Championships.
Now we seek your help in repaying the loan! The vaulting table
cost a total of US$4,143.00 including shipping. As before, donations
to the Team UZB vault drive are not tax deductible, but donations
of any size are welcome and appreciated. If you are able to
