Career: Svetlana has been a teacher an coach at RUOR (the Uzbekistan College of Olympic Reserve) in Tashkent since 1970. An internationally qualified judge since 1988, Svetlana has been Head Coach of the Uzbekistan National Team (W) since 1993 and the Women's Technical Committee Chair Since 1994. Svetlana is a member of the Executive Committee of the Asian Gymnastics Union and has served as Vice President of the South-Central Zone since 1998.

Personal: Svetlana enjoys ballet, theater, historical novels, listening to music and making friends around the world. Her daughter Elena is also a coach for Uzbekisatan and gave birth in 1999 to her first granddaughter Daria. Her husband Yuri and son Sasha are both transportation engineers.
